Readit 2.0 for Windows Phone gets performance, data, and battery usage improvements

Readit 2.0 is now available for Windows Phone users, focusing on performance, data, and battery usage improvements. Developers behind Readit promise a ‘reworked’ design in the upcoming Readit universal app — which is currently in the works.

“A beautiful, well-crafted Reddit app for the Windows Phone Platform. From features like live tiles, a stunning interface, and complete markdown support, you are missing out if you aren’t using Readit for your Reddit browsing habits on Windows Phone,” the app description reads.

The app runs for $1.99 and is available via the Windows Phone Store. Please keep in mind that storage methods have changed and the cloud sync server is down for the next day so you will need to re-login once you update. For those of you testing the app via the free trial, the time has been reset so you can test the app longer.

Head over to the download link below to snag the app. Version 2.0 is propagating through the servers, so give it some time if you are unable to download the new version. If you are looking for a change log, this is what the app developer had to say, “I attempted to put one together but it was just so huge that I couldn’t complete it honestly. The whole app has basically changed since it was mostly rewritten.”
