Microsoft is apparently working on a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for a couple of new devices, including the OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 and the Xiaomi Mi5. Last year, Microsoft released a Windows 10 ROM for Xiaomi Mi4 to give users the ability to try out the company’s new operating system.

Recently, the Chinese company introduced their latest flagship device, but it’s not yet available on the market. Same is the case for the OnePlus 3, which rumors suggest will launch by the end of the second quarter.

Microsoft has yet to roll out the new Windows 10 Mobile operating system to existing devices.

A Windows 10 Mobile ROM is a way for users to experience the Windows 10 Mobile opperating system on an Android device. While the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 was released with both an Android and Windows 10 Mobile version, incorporating a Windows 10 Mobile ROM into one Android release would provide both experiences in one device.
