The European smartphone manufacturer Kazam has introduced three new Windows tablets alongside the new Windows Phones ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2015. The new Kazam L10, L8 and L7 doesn’t offer high-end specifications, but they should be good enough for the entry-level/mid-range market, especially if the company price the tablets right.
“We are delighted to expand our relationship with KAZAM,” said Peter Han, Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, OEM Division, Microsoft. “These new Windows tablets and phones will diversify KAZAM’s Windows offerings across Europe and provide customers with a consistent yet personalised experience across devices.”
All three tablets offer a similar set of specifications with minor changes here and there. The tablets are powered by a quad-core Intel Bay Trail processor with a 2MP front and rear camera, microUSB and microHDMI port, and the ability to expand storage via a microSD card slot.
The bigger Kazam L10 will boast a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels with 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and a 7,900 mAh battery. As for the 7-inch and 8-inch versions, they also boast a similar 1,280 by 800 pixels resolution, but with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. As far as the battery capacities are concerned, the 7-incher comes with a 3,500 mAh battery while the 8-inch version has a 4,000mAh. All these tablets ships with Windows 8.1 as their operating system out of the box.
The tablets will be available across Europe in the coming weeks. There’s no word about the exact pricing or availability, but the company will exhibit the new devices at the Mobile World Congress 2015.
