Hipstamatic Oggl app for Windows Phone 8 receives minor update, fixes some bugs

For those of you who use the Hipstamatic Oggl app for Windows Phone 8, there is an update awaiting you. In this minor update, bugs have been squashed and performance improvements were made – bumping the version number to 1.2.1.155.

“Oggl is a “capture-first” shooting experience using Hipstamatic’s beautiful lenses and films, and comes with 5 “Favorites” pre-loaded for situational shooting: Landscape, Food, Portrait, Nightlife and Sunset. For the first time ever, edit a photo after it’s taken to experiment with different looks, and tap to preview effects before shooting,” the app description reads.

As the app developers state on the app description page, Oggl is an “experience” that is designed for capturing and curating beautiful photos, not for showcasing ads. That’s why there is a paid version of the app, which can run you from $2.99 (quarterly) or $9.99 (yearly).

In the previous update to this app, we saw added support for older devices with 512 MB of memory and nearly fifty improvements and bug fixes.

If you have this app installed or have never checked it out, head over to the download link below to snag the updated app. Let us know how you like the app and if you noticed any new improvements.

Thanks for the tip, SuperUser!
