Evolve Open Beta is coming to Xbox One on January 15th 2015

Xbox One

Evolve is one of the most anticipated games in an already crowded 2015. A team based shooter, much in the same vein as Left 4 Dead, the title pits a group of four players as human soldiers against a player controller monster which ‘evolves’ to become more powerful as time goes by. Requiring tight teamwork and quick reflexes, the title promises to be a freeform breath of fresh air in a release schedule otherwise dominated with functional, on-rails first-person shooting experiences.

Developer Turtle Rock Studios have announced that the open beta for Evolve will begin on January 15th, 2015. Players will be able to access ‘Hunt’ mode and will have access to the first two monsters, eight hunters and all twelve maps that support that particular game mode. Offline play will not be supported during this period, players will have to wait until the official release on February 10th, 2015 before they can access the full game.

Will you be taking part in the open beta? Let us know in the comments below.
