For those wishing to virtualize Microsoft Office 2013, you can now. With App-V 5.0 Beta 2, the new Office 2013 Customer Preview can be delivered as an App-V package directly to customers providing easy and quick on-demand access and co-existence with previous versions of Office. And best of all, you will not need an Office Deployment Kit! App-V 5.0 Beta 2 now comes with a reporting feature, which allows you to report on virtual application inventory and utilization. It also comes with integration with System Center Configuration Manager 2012 and PowerShell automation to the management server and the sequencer. Head over to the download link (you will need to log into Microsoft Connect first) to check it out!
