Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 14267 last week and added a neat little addition to the operating system — you can now have up to 16 apps running in the background. This is up from the previous maximum of 8 apps that one was able to have in the app switcher.
This is definitely a welcomed change if your phone has plenty of memory to take advantage of it. Keep in mind that Windows 10 Mobile suspends the app into the memory, and it doesn’t completely run the app in the background eating up your battery. If you are a heavy multi-tasker, enjoy this new feature available on Windows 10 build 14267 and hopefully it remains in subsequent builds.
