Xbox to make its digital return to the Tokyo Game Show on September 15 – onmsft.com

Xbox will have a digital presence at the 2022 Tokyo Game Show. Xbox will present a broadcast stream on Thursday, September 15 at 6pm JST/9amUTC/2amPDT/5amEST. The stream will be curated for players in Asia and Japan. Both the Xbox Series X and Series S have been doing surprisingly well in Japan, even outselling the PlayStation 5.

The Xbox stream promises updates on existing games from Xbox Game Studios and games launching from third-party developers. It will be available on the Tokyo Game Show official YouTube channel. It will also be on Xbox YouTube channels in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Viewers in China can tune in on Bilibili.

This year’s Tokyo Game Show will be the first time in three years the event has gone live and in-person (as well as digital). The theme for Tokyo Game Show 2022 is “Nothing Stops Gaming,” to represent solidarity among gamers across the globe.
