Xbox announced today that it is rolling out a new friend referral program on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This new feature allows members to invite up to five friends access to a 14-day PC Game Pass trial. Note that invited friends must be new to Game Pass to redeem the trial. In the Game Pass home screen there should now be a “Give PC Game Pass” button.
The trial comes with all the normal perks and benefits of PC Game Pass. Not to mention the same access to hundreds of PC titles including Forza Horizon 5, Redfall, Halo Infinite, Atomic Heart, Gears 5 Game of the Year Edition and more. And with the recent addition of 40 new countries where PC Game Pass is available (for a total of 86), more gamers than ever can now enjoy what PC Game Pass has to offer.
Invitees will need the Xbox app on PC to take advantage of PC Game Pass. At this point there is no word on whether a similar offer for the console version of Xbox Game Pass is in the works. To find out more visit the PC Game Pass FAQ page.
