Xbox 360 gamers on Xbox Live get free multiplayer weekend

Starting today, Major Nelson announced that Xbox 360 Xbox Live gamers will get a free weekend to play their favorite multiplayer games like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, GTA V Online, FIFA 15, and Battlefield Hardline. If you are not already an Xbox Live Gold member, this is a great way to check out all the great services that Xbox Live Gold membership gets you. I think that the Games with Gold program on the Xbox 360 is a lot more rewarding than the Xbox One just based on the number of Xbox 360 games out there. I am sure that there will be a number of new games coming out on the Xbox One with the arrival of Windows 10 this summer and the upcoming HoloLens release (I’m pumped!). The Xbox 360 Games with Gold Program just can’t be beat right now.

So this weekend, all Xbox Live members just need an internet connection to play their favorite Xbox 360 games online for free. The Xbox Live multiplayer free weekend starts today May 1st, and runs until Sunday, May 3rd, so get cracking and start gaming now on your Xbox 360!
