In between exciting news breaking in the Microsoft universe, several apps including popular YouTube client Metrotube, and Microsoft’s MixRadio, and Ringtone Maker paused for a while to receive exciting updates. So let’s check out what these updates have to offer.
\
Since Windows Phone doesn’t has an official YouTube client (read: Google pulled its YouTube client from Windows Phone), users are forced to look at alternatives. Metrotube is one of the most popular third-party client of Google’s video and streaming portal. If you’ve the app installed on your mobile device, you might want to check Store app, as Metrotube has snagged an update.

Microsoft has updated the MixRadio and Ringtone Maker apps. Though, neither of the apps bring anything interesting, except bringing fixes and more stability. Ringtone Maker has added a few handy improvements, including the ability to make ringtones as short as 1 second. Additionally, you can also make better alerts for messaging, emails, reminders and also alarm clock. As for MixRadio, since Microsoft hasn’t offered a changelog, we don’t expect any new features. Do take it out for a spin and let us know if you find something new.
