Windows 8.1 Build 9477 X64 Leaks Onto The Web – onmsft.com

Windows 8.1 9477

We have yet another Windows 8.1 leak on our hands, but it seems the leakers have all of a sudden had a change of heart. The original leakers have begun removing all references to build 9477’s leak, including download links, but it was too late as other beta enthusiast websites managed to snag the download before it was pulled.

Not much is known about this leak, but we do know it’s in Chinese and probably identical to build 9471 which recently found itself on the internet, almost by magic. We’re trying our very hardest on getting our hands on build 9477, but we’ll admit, they’re making it a lot harder for us this time.

As per usual we do not recommend downloading pre-release material as this build was not intended for public use. We will also not be offering direct links to its download as standard policy here at WinBeta. As the leak uses the zh-CN language, it will require a conversion back to en-US if your native language is English.

Until we can get our hands on this leak, we cannot confirm its legitimacy.

Windows 8.1 is expected to hit RTM either this week or next week, with its official launch coming in October. As with previous Windows RTM’s, it’s plausible that the Windows 8.1 RTM will leak shortly after it hits RTM and is sent of to OEM’s. Check back at WinBeta for updates on this leak!
