Microsoft has released today a new Windows 10 preview build for PC users on the Release Preview Ring (via Windows Central). The Cumulative Update KB3209385 will bump the OS to version 14393.594 and require you to restart your PC to complete the installation process. Microsoft did not share a changelog for this update yet, though we expect this new cumulative update to bring the usual bug fixes and improvements.
As a reminder, the latest cumulative update to be released on the Production ring was the Windows 10 build 14393.576 which was pushed to PCs and mobiles on December 13. We don’t yet if this new cumulative update will also be released for Windows 10 Mobile users on the Preview ring, though Microsoft may push this latest build to all Windows 10 users next week on Patch Tuesday. As for Redstone 2 builds, Head of the Windows Insider Program Dona Sarkar tweeted that no new builds would be released today though we hope we won’t have to wait much longer.
