We finally get to see Master Chief’s face in Halo TV Series – onmsft.com

Earlier this month, 343 industries confirmed that season two of the sci-fi Tv series was in the works. The show hasn’t debuted yet, but is set to air on Paramount Plus come March 24th, but fans can expect at least one big surprise.

Halo’s executive producer and 343 Industries’ Studio Head of Transmedia, Kiki Wolfkill, in an interview with IGN, revealed that fans will finally get to know the Master Chief’s identity.

She further explained that making the character’s true identity known to the public is an integral part of the story. “I think we set out to tell a character story and a personal story,” she explained. “And once we really got into what that story was, it became clear that you really needed to see the person in the armor and under the helmet.”

This will definitely be a moment of reckoning as we have never gotten to see who is actually behind the mask for almost 20 years now, but that will come to an end once the show premieres. There were few instances where you might have managed to catch a glimpse of the Master Chief’s head or eyes while playing the game.

It is still unclear how the fans will interact with the character once they get to see him without the armor, but Kiki insists that the move is necessary and it is absolutely necessary to connect both sides of the character. We will just have to wait and see how the fans take on this change once the show premieres.
