Have you ever been in a situation where you either lose your files, erase them permanently on accident, or find your hard drive fried? Microsoft knows what you have gone through. In a new video advertisement, Microsoft showcases a robot that destroys a laptop, ultimately destroying the files that were on the drive.

Now, one can argue about recovering those files using complicated methods, but that is besides the point. The point of the video is to show you how you can easily lose your files if you don’t have it stored on the cloud. Microsoft’s new video advertisement for SkyDrive is actually pretty funny too.

“Put your files in SkyDrive, so even if you lose or break your device, you can easily get them back,” the video description reads. Check out the video below.
