Here’s how you can get your favorite app to feature in the Microsoft Store App Awards 2023

For those unfamiliar with the Microsoft Store App Awards, it’s an annual event held by Microsoft to give recognition to apps on Microsoft Store that have displayed “excellence in their user experience, design, quality, and most of all, customer value.”

Microsoft describes the event as “the most anticipated event for the Microsoft Store community”, especially after last year’s event. This year’s Award ceremony is around the corner, and Microsoft is giving both users and enthusiasts a chance to nominate their favorite apps to be featured in the Microsoft Store App Awards 2023.

According to the tech firm:

This is your chance to recognize and showcase the apps that have made your Windows experience unforgettable, and to support the developers who have poured their hearts and souls into making them.

You can nominate your favorite app in the Microsoft Store to feature in the ceremony from March 15 through March 29 via Microsoft Forms. Developers are also encouraged to spread the word and get their users to nominate their apps for the awards.

It should also be noted that the nominated apps must meet the requirements listed below:

– Must be publicly listed in the Microsoft Store on Windows in at least one market by end of March
– Must have 100% functionality on Windows 11, not just on Windows 10
– Must have 3.5 star or higher rating with at least 50 ratings entries
– Must have been published or received significant meaningful updates over the past 12 months

If you are also looking to nominate more than one app, you should ensure that you do this separately for each app so that your vote counts.

Will you be nominating your favorite app to feature in the Awards ceremony? Let us know which app you voted for in the comments.
