Time Warner Cable live TV channels coming soon to Xbox Live Gold members

Microsoft and Time Warner Cable have announced a new partnership which will offer up to 300 live TV channels for those who have an Xbox Live Gold membership on their Xbox 360 entertainment console.

All you have to do is download the Time Warner Cable TV app from the Xbox Live Marketplace when it becomes available later this summer. Once you have it up and running, simply log in using your Time Warner Cable credentials and begin watching up to 300 TV channels!

Channels will include AMC, BBC World News, Bravo, Cartoon Network, CNN, Comedy Central, Food Network, HGTV and more. A list of all the channels available have not been published.

“TWC TV is a significant addition to Xbox 360, bringing our customers their favorite entertainment in one place-enhanced TV experience, games, movies, music, sports and entertainment apps. Our partnership with TWC enhances all that is available on Xbox 360 today, which will we continue expand. We’re thrilled to offer TWC TV to U.S. Xbox Live members and Time Warner Cable subscribers,” Microsoft stated in an official press release.
