Forza Horizon 3 has been one of the biggest video game launches in the past year due to it releasing on both Xbox One and Windows 10 as part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere initiative which allows gamers to buy a title on one platform and get it for free on another.
This strategy has also opened up certain video game franchises to regions that don’t have a strong Xbox One console install base such as China, which was revealed this week to be the second-highest market for Forza Horizon 3 sales just behind the United States which claimed the top position.
This announcement came at a recent event in Beijing where Forza franchise product manager, Chris Bishop, (reported by David Ahmad) announced the impressive sales.
At an event at Beijing, @CarChris85 announced that China is the #2 region for Forza Horizon 3 PC sales, just behind US.

Microsoft launched the Xbox One console in China in September 2014 and while it has yet to reach the popularity of the console in Western countries, Microsoft has confirmed they’re investing in the Chinese market for the long-term and have shown no signs of slowing down.
