Illumination’s Minions have invaded the world of Minecraft in the game’s latest DLC update!
Brought to you by creator Cyclone (who was also responsible for the Disney Pixar Lightyear DLC), Illumination’s Minions Mashup has Minecrafters taking on the role of Gru in a quest to become the ultimate supervillain. To do this you’ll need to take on the Vicious 6, who stand between you and world domination.
And in Zodiac Showdown, you’ll take on Jean Clawed, Nunchuk, Svengeance, Stronghold, and Belle Bottom in their zodiac forms! This is in celebration of the new movie Minions: The Rise of Gru.
The DLC also includes 29 exclusive skins from the Minions franchise, and a free in-game Minions hoodie in the Dressing Room.
This new content is part of the Minions x Minecraft mashup. If you already own that, then this update if free of additional charge. Otherwise, you can head on over to the Minecraft Marketplace and purchase it.
