Today, Telltale Games and Mojang, released a new trailer for Minecraft Story Mode, Episode One: The Order of the Stone. As with previous Telltale games like The Walking Dead or Back to the Future, Telltale is taking on the Minecraft to produce a episodic story of Minecraft. Telltale and Mojang released cast details and a premiere event set to take place on October 12. Episode One, The Order of the Stone will feature Patton Oswalt as male Jesse and Catherine Taber as female Jesse, along with Corey Feldman, Grey Griffin, Dave Fennoy, and as we just told you, John Hodgman cast as the four Order of the Stone members.
There will be a Minecraft community premiere event at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, CA on October 12. Minecraft and Telltale community members that attend the event will be invited to join the “World’s Largest Let’s Play,” where the audience will be able to vote on how the Episode One story goes. Minecraft Story Mode is planned to have five episodes, but there may be more introduced later.
Look for Minecraft Story Mode and Episode One The Order of the Stone when it becomes available for download on October 12 for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
