Are you a student with talent in the technology field? If so, Microsoft has just the challenge for you!

As part of the ImagineCup “Hello Cloud” contest, Microsoft has launched an online Cortana Analytics Suite challenge. A combined Cortana Analytics and ImagineCup teams are partnering with each other to bring you an opportunity to show off your data science and app development skills.

In the challenge, you will need to build a churn analytics game app powered by Azure ML’s data science models.  Then, based on past player history and data for similar players, you will need to determine when a gamer is likely to quit your app.

Prizes in the challenge include an all expenses paid 4 day trip to Redmond, where you will get to Participate in the ImagineCup world finals.  As part of the trip, you will get to meet with the Corporate Vice President of the Data Group, Joseph Sirosh, and other senior leadership.  Lastly, and coolest of them all, you will also get an up close look at the Cortana Analytics development process and gain the ability to check out intelligent apps, prototypes and demos yet to be seen by the broad public.

The deadline to submit your entries is 23:59 GMT on April 27th, 2016. For details on eligibility, how to participate and judging criteria, check the ImagineCup site here.
