While Microsoft has released a few firmware and driver updates for the Surface Book, it’s been a couple of months since the Surface Pro 4 received any love. Today, Microsoft decided to go ahead and release something for its tablet that wants to be a notebook, although it’s nothing to get too excited about.
Here’s what’s been updated in the December Surface Pro 4 firmware update:
- Realtek Semiconductor Corp. driver for Realtek High Definition Audio (SST)
- Realtek High Definition Audio (SST)
- v6.0.1.7895 – Improves system stability and Cortana performance.
The last update was in August 2016, and so apparently Microsoft considers the Surface Pro 4 to be a fairly stable machine. Let us know in the comments if you agree or disagree with the state of Microsoft’s 2-in-1 device.
