Surface Book now available for pre-order in UK, other markets

Microsoft has opened the flood gates for pre-orders of their highly anticipated Surface Book in new markets outside the US and Canada, which is set to start shipping over the next few weeks. Pre-orders start today, with prices ranging from £1,299 in the UK for the base-model up to £2249 for the high-end 512GB model.

New markets in which pre-orders are now open include:

  • Austria
  • Australia
  • UK
  • France
  • Germany
  • Switzerland
  • New Zealand

Pre-orders are already live for Germany, France and the UK with more following in the next few hours. You can pre-order directly from Microsoft via their online Microsoft Store, and devices are expected to start shipping on January 27th for Australia and New Zealand, and February 18th for other markets.
