Many fans of the video game had assumed that this would be the case given that new DLC was expected to drop around the premiere of the film but this is the first official confirmation of its theme.
No details beyond its theme has been announced yet however more information is going to be revealed next week with the DLC itself launching sometime before the end of the month according to the Battlefront II community manager, Ben Walke.
As an extra surprise to fans, Star Wars Battlefront II is also set to get a smaller mystery update today in celebration of Star Wars Day, May the Fourth. This update, whatever it is, should be going live very shortly.
Season Two will release this month (with lots of great content) and the info starts to arrive next week. It'll be called "The Han Solo Season".
Also, it's May 4th tomorrow, be on the lookout for some other bits that are happening. News on that will be hitting shortly pic.twitter.com/FfGkAMwO2j
