Staples has kicked off a new promotion enticing consumers to purchase a Windows 8 device. Beginning now and ending April 27th, consumers can get up to $400 towards a Windows 8 dekstop or tablet device if they sell or trade-in their old PC. You can even use the money to snag a Surface!

“Starting yesterday and running through until April 27th, Staples is offering customers the opportunity to get up to $400 back when trading in an old PC or tablet to buy any Windows 8 touch-screen laptop, All-in-One or tablet PCs. That means customers can save up $400 off Windows 8 devices such as the Lenovo Yoga, Lenovo Twist, Microsoft Surface RT and Microsoft Surface Pro,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post. This deal includes the Surface Pro and Surface RT, for those who have yet to snag one. Visit Staples to “trade up to touch!”

As one of our readers points out (thanks 1stkorean!), you have to purchase the new Windows 8 PC first then submit a claim for the “up to” $400 within 14 days of making that purchase.
