Sony wants you to believe 'greatness awaits' with the PS4, offers unboxing video

We are officially ten days away until the launch of the Xbox One entertainment console and the primary rival to the Xbox One, the Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4), has now been teased in an official unboxing video. Regardless of which console you are getting this holiday season, gamers are going to be having some serious fun.

In the official Sony video, we see Sony President Shuhei Yoshida act as a “secret agent” as he unboxes the new Playstation 4 and offers us a look at the power cord, DualShock 4 controller, USB cable, PlayStation Network voucher, quick start guide, HDMI cable, headset, and of course the 500GB PS4 console. Yoshida closes the video with a smile as he says, “Greatness awaits.”

As we count down to the release of both consoles, we cant help but remember how Sony and Microsoft have gone at it over the past several months. With both companies feeding off each other, gamers around the world have become increasingly vocal about which console they plan on getting this year.

Xbox One is set to launch on November 22nd. for $499. The Playstation 4 is set to launch on November 15 for $399. We’ve added both “unboxing” videos of the PS4 and Xbox One below, for your viewing pleasure. Which video does a great job in hyping you up?
