Recent reports suggest that Scott Moore, head of Microsoft’s MSN will be leaving the company, but has not yet been confirmed by Microsoft themselves.

All Things Digital report that Scott Moore may be leaving the company. He became head of Microsoft’s MSN early 2009, he previously worked on Microsoft’s Slate online magazine, which is no longer around. He then left to join Yahoo, before returning to Microsoft again.

Scott Moore helped transform MSN in 2009, these changes helped the site with more media such as News, Sports, Finance, Entertainment and Lifestyle. These and better intergration with Bing made MSN what it is today. Scott Moore also helped out with Microsoft’s Wonderwall celebrity website, but development on that site started before Scott Moore arrived at MSN.

There are no reports on who will be replacing Moore’s position. MSN is still one of the most visited websites in the world. Microsoft haven’t given much attention to their web portal over the past few years, who knows what plans they have for MSN.
