Rovio launches Angry Birds Epic, available on Windows Phone Store

Rovio Entertainment has today released the new title to its Angry Birds franchise; Angry Birds Epic. The game has been made available across all popular platforms — Android, iOS and Windows Phone, simultaneously. It features a fantasy-adventure story. There are several new things you will experience this time. Instead of physics-based gameplay, the team has employed RPG line.

As always, the characters Red, Chuck, and Bomb explore the Piggy Island to battle the pig villains. “In this all-new role-playing game, you lead your heroic flock into battle against the green snout-nosed scoundrels in a fantasy Piggy Island. From tribal villages and frosty mountains to tropical beaches and mysterious caves, get ready to navigate your way through this treacherous land and meet all kinds of wacky and offbeat characters” the plot reads.

The new game features new battles, fantasy worlds, and several new characters (King Pig, Wiz Pig, Prince Porky and more). Plus Rovio promises that there are a lot of humorous elements all over the place too. Take out your phone and try the game now! Also, we already know about the next title in the Angry Birds franchise: Angry Birds Stella. It will release in September.
