Red Dead Redemption on Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Red Dead Redemption 2 is definitely one of the most anticipated games of 2018, and the talented folks over at Rockstar Games know how to capture gamer’s attention. A brand new trailer for the Western-themed action-adventure game has been published today, and it already crossed 345,000 views at the time of this writing.

The action of Red Dead Redemption 2 is set in 1899 in America, and the game will be a prequel to the 2010 title Red Dead Redemption. This new episode will focus on outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Dutch van der Linde gang who is forced to flee after a robbery goes wrong in the western town of Blackwater.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was originally due for release in the second half of 2017, but the game has since been delayed to October 26, 2018. As a result, the game will likely have to compete with Call of Duty: Black Ops IV and other AAA games to be released this Fall. Rockstar Games already released one of the most popular games of all time with GTA V, and it remains to be seen if Red Dead Redemption 2 could reach the same level of momentum.

For now though, we remind you that the Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption is now enhanced for the Xbox One X, so it’s a pretty good time to revisit the first episode before playing the prequel later this year.
