Windows 10 Mobile on Lumia 950

Italian mobile news site, Aggiornamenti Lumia, reports that the internal update for Windows 10 Mobile will be getting a rather simple but essential feature: App Reset (thanks to John for the tip).

Instead of having to uninstall and then reinstall an application if there are problems, the user will be able to simply tap the Reset button. This will wipe the app’s save data, freeing up resources that might have otherwise bogged down your device or become corrupted.

The Windows 10 Creators Update will add the Reset under Settings > Apps & Features > Selected apps > Advanced options

The article also mentions that users will be able to view memory space occupied without colorful tags as well as more information will be displayed about an app’s physical memory and network data usage.

This feature will be coming to the Fast Ring along with the previously covered Microsoft Edge ePUB reader. While we don’t have an exact time frame of the next Windows 10 Mobile Insider update, it’s likely to sneak up on us sooner rather than later.
