Potential leak of a new curved Lumia screen hits the net

\

Anticipation is really beginning to build for the future release of Microsoft’s flagship Lumia Windows Phones. There have been quite a few leaks and rumors floating around recently and while the odds of all of them being 100% accurate or reflective of the eventual finalized products are slim, it sure is fun to speculate.

\

In April, ad hosting network AdDuplex noticed a potential high-end Lumia smartphone in its logs which featured a 5.7” 1080p display and was powered by Windows 10 and a source for UnleashThePhones revealed that there would be at least two flagship Lumia devices released after the launch of Windows 10 later in 2015. These two devices are apparently nicknamed Cityman and Talkman and are expected to feature a 5.7-inch and 5.2-inch display respectively while both will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Could this be part of Microsoft's flagship phone?

\

Today comes news of another potential leak, this time concerning a photo of a curved screen posted on Twitter. No details are given with the photo however and it’s unclear exactly how it relates to Microsoft’s future Lumia devices beyond the fact that something is being worked on. The presence of the Nokia brand on the bottom of the screen raises a few eyebrows but its inclusion could simply be for internal company prototypes. The degree of the screen’s curve is also questionable as the photo is taken from an angle that makes it hard to tell just how curved it is and the screen itself is separate from the actual device which makes it hard to discern its final appearance and degree of curviness.
