Quite a few rumors are circulating the internet right now on the availability of Windows 8.1 Update 1. Now, according to Microsoft insider Paul Thurrott, Windows 8.1 will hit MSDN on April 2nd, the same day the Build 2014 Developer Conference begins. General availability of the update will arrive on April 8th via Windows Update, during the April Patch Tuesday. This rumor seems plausible and Microsoft watcher Mary Jo Foley recently mentioned that this update would arrive during April’s Patch Tuesday. Who’s ready for this update?
