WPWorld.pl, a Polish Windows Phone focused news site, is reporting the mobile carrier Orange will begin rolling out the upgrade to Windows 10 for older Lumia phones starting December 14th. The first phones to receive the update on December 14th will be the Lumia 630, 635, 640, 735, and 830. This wave of updates will be followed by another on February 1st, which will include the Lumia 520, 532, 625, 720, 820, 920, 925, 930, 1020 and 1320. The Lumia 530 and the phablet sized Lumia 1520 were omitted from the list without a potential date for their upgrades.

The post from WPWorld.pl cites an unnamed source that tipped them off and also include screengrabs of Orange’s upgrade plans for Lumia phones.

With the year almost over and the first Windows 10 phones about to be launched, it shouldn’t be long until carriers like Orange start publicly providing more information about upgrade paths to Windows 10 Mobile and the specific timing. Last week Microsoft began readying the Lumia software update page for Windows 10 Mobile, just on the heels of our report that Microsoft had signed off on a final build for Threshold 2 for both Desktop and Mobile.

Which Lumia and carrier do you hope will be receiving Windows 10 Mobile before year’s end? Let us know in the comments section below.
