Variety has reported that an animated television adaptation of Among Us is in the works.
The show will be developed by CBS Eye Animation Productions in partnership with Among Us game developer Innersloth. Owen Dennis (creator of Infinity Train on Cartoon Network) will serve as series creator and executive producer. Animation will be handled by Big Mouth and Star Trek: Lower Decks studio Titmouse.

The show’s official logline reads thus:
Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs.”
It should be an interesting take on the 2018 online social deduction game, which exploded in popularity in 2020. The small indie team at Innersloth thanked players in its announcement post on its site.
We’re SO PUMPED and blown away we are getting this opportunity. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information comes out but for now just wanted to share the news! Thank you so much for being around and supporting us. Things like this aren’t possible without all our players.”
Among Us is available on just about every platform out there, including Windows, Xbox One and Series X|S.
