Microsoft Office 2013 logo leaks, going all Metro

A new screenshot has leaked onto the web today revealing what could be the new logo for the next version of Office which is set to launch in 2013. With Microsoft’s new Metro UI, Office isn’t being left out. It’s new logo has been simplified all in favour of Metro.

A new screenshot that leaked onto the web has revealed what could be the new logo for Microsoft’s next version of Office, Office 2013. This version will heavily include Metro, which means the logo will also get a redesign. The logo has been simplified to match corresponding Metro elements, since simple is better, according to Metro. A public beta for Office 2013 has been rumoured to launch sometime this month.
