NORAD Bing Santa Tracker

It is a question of no small importance to millions of youngsters (and maybe some of the young of heart) around the world every year. That is, will Santa really come?

Eager to help breathe a little life back into the legend, or at the very least to entertain some children, Microsoft have partnered up with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) in order to track the merry fat man on his annual voyage. Whether the somewhat militarized search has insidious undercurrents is something that can later be decided.

Users of Windows Phone can simply ask Cortana, “Where is Santa?” to get a read on his location, though one would presume that at this early stage he is still occupied with preparations. By heading over to the NORAD site, eager beavers can get a more precise lead on his location, and can indulge in a few Christmas themed games while they’re at it.

Will you be tracking Santa? Let us know in the comments below.
