Nokia

Not too long ago, Nokia unveiled its first Android-based devices, in the form of a Nokia X line, but that doesn’t mean the Finns are done with the Windows Phone OS. It’s still their primary focus, and we’ve heard some mysterious codenames of devices Nokia is working on in the past, thanks to the prolific Twitter leaker @evleaks. Recently, @evleaks tweeted out that Nokia is working on another device, codenamed Martini, and will be powered by Windows Phone Blue.

Back in November, @evleaks tweeted some mysterious codenames of Nokia devices, including Goldfinger, Moneypenny, Normandy, Phantom and Spinel — Normandy, aka Nokia X, has already seen the light of the day. A few days later, he dropped the good news for Windows Phone fans that Goldfinger and Moneypenny will be the first Windows Phone Blue devices from Nokia, and adding Martini to the list makes it the third device that will be powered by the latest offering from the Redmond-based company.

There’s no word what the device will bring at the table or when will it launch, but it seems Nokia is working on a bunch of Windows Phone handsets. Microsoft is expected to launch Windows Phone 8.1 at Build 2014 in April, and it’s possible that all these Windows Phone Blue devices will get official during the event or a few weeks later. We’ll update you if any other information pops up related to Nokia Martini or any other Windows Phone Blue device.
