Nokia tells you why the Lumia 1020 is better than a DSLR

The Nokia Lumia 1020 certainly possesses one of the best cameras you could have on a phone. But is it better than a DSLR? In a new video posted by Nokia, the Finnish company tells you why it believes so.

The video suggests that not only is the 41 MP PureView camera phone better than the DSLR from a quality standpoint, but also it is more convenient to use. While using the Lumia 1020, the user gets a gamut of settings to tinker with, and unlike with most DSLR cameras, you don’t have to carry tripods and other accessories. That might be one of the biggest perks you get by using the Lumia 1020.

This self-appraisal video comes weeks after the handset received the Lumia Black Update, which as Nokia said, has rewritten the 1020 camera algorithm to bump up the quality, add more natural colors and reduce the noise.

While it could be hard to stomach that the Lumia 1020 camera is better than DSLR, it certainly is more convenient to use. Check out the video below.
