Nokia rumored to launch Lumia 525 and Lumia 1320 in India on Jan 7th

Nokia is sending out media invites today for an event taking place tomorrow, looking to unfold the “new chapter of the Nokia Lumia story” in India. Nokia recently unveiled the Lumia 1520 in India and this time we are expecting to see the Lumia 1320 and Lumia 525.

During this event, Nokia is rumored to be launching the Lumia 1320 in India, which features a 6-inch 720p display and a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset. The 1320 also comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage, a 3400mAh battery, and a 5MP rear camera. India recently received the Lumia 1520, a 6-inch 1080p Windows Phone 8 smartphone that features a quad-core processor and a 20-megapixel camera. The device was released in the United States on November 22nd.

On the flip side, we are also expecting the lower-end Lumia 525. This device builds off the success of the “world’s most popular Windows Phone device” Lumia 520 and is expected to be available in gloss orange, white, yellow, and matte black. This device features 1GB of RAM, 4-inch IPS LCD display 800×480, dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 5 MP camera, and expandable storage with microSD slot.

More on this as it develops.
