Nokia rumored to launch Lumia 1320 and 1520 in India during Lumia event on Dec 16th

If you reside in India and have been itching to get your hands on the new Lumia 1320 or Lumia 1520, it looks like your wait might just be over. Nokia is sending out invites for a Lumia event scheduled for December 16th in New Delhi, where Nokia is rumored to launch both large-screen Windows Phone 8 devices.

India is definitely receiving the Lumia 1520, as the Nokia India website lists the phablet as “coming soon.” The Nokia Lumia 1520 is a 6-inch 1080p Windows Phone 8 smartphone that features a quad-core processor and a 20-megapixel camera. The device was released in the United States on November 22nd.

While the Lumia 1520 is the first 6-inch Windows Phone 8 device, the region is also rumored to be receiving the Lumia 1320, which features a 6-inch 720p display and a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset. The 1320 also comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage, a 3400mAh battery, and a 5MP rear camera.

No word yet on pricing for both devices but we’ll just have to wait until December 16th to find out.
