Nokia Play To 3.0 Beta for Lumia 1320 and 1520 now available for download

Nokia Play To is an app that lets you share your photos, videos, and music from your Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 device to your DLNA-capable device over your WLAN network. Unfortunately, this app is currently only available for those of you lucky enough to get your hands on a Lumia 1320 or Lumia 1520.

“Enjoy your photos, videos and music on other web-enabled (DLNA) devices using Play To in order to connect over the same Wi-Fi network. Discover devices you can connect to over Wi-Fi using Play To, including smart TVs, Blu-ray players, PCs and tablets. You can’t currently connect to PS3 or stream media from the cloud with Play To. This latest version includes improved Wi-Fi connectivity ensuring it continues working with future devices and firmware updates,” the app description reads.

At the moment, this app works for Lumia 1320 or Lumia 1520, as it requires the Nokia Black firmware update. Once this firmware update rolls out to other Lumia devices, the app will no longer be exclusive to the 1320/1520.

In this latest update, Nokia has added support for all Windows Phone 8 resolutions along with the ability to have slideshow support for images. Hit the download link below to snag the app.

Editors note: This app also works on the Lumia 520. Thanks @gertstarckx!
