Nokia Lumia 930 set to launch in Ireland on July 3rd

Nokia Lumia 930

The other day, we heard that the Nokia Lumia 930, an upcoming high-end device powered by Windows Phone 8.1, will hit an Irish carrier Meteor in the coming days. As a matter of fact, we’ve yet to come across a solid availability date for the Nokia Lumia 930, until now. Nokia Ireland has revealed on their Facebook page that Lumia 930 will hit the country on July 3rd, and will be available on Vodafone, Meteor, and O2.

This should come as a surprisingly good news for all Windows Phone fans in Ireland, who are waiting for the Lumia 930 to hit retail. Unfortunately, Nokia Ireland didn’t mention anything about the pricing, but we’re not expecting a low price tag for the handset — it should be close to other flagship devices.

The Lumia 930 is the international version of the Nokia Lumia Icon, which is exclusively available from Verizon in the US. The handset boasts a 5-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 800 SoC and 2GB of RAM. There’s 32GB storage as well, but storage hungry users should know that it doesn’t come with microSD card support. There’s a 20MP camera on board as well for impressive photos and videos, as well as a 2,420 mAh battery.

We’re hoping the handset will launch in other regions next month as well, around a similar time frame. We’ll update you if we hear anything about its availability for other markets.
