Nokia Lumia 925

If you’re rocking a Nokia Lumia 925 tied to T-Mobile, there’s a piece of good news for you. The latest Nokia Lumia Black update is rolling out for the handset, and should reach all devices in the coming days. Other Windows Phone powered handsets tied to AT&T and Verizon have already received the refresh, making T-Mobile the last one in the States.

The Lumia Black update brings an array of features along with it, including the ability to set custom ringtones for apps, the Glance screen, improved storage management and Wi-Fi sharing, screen orientation lock, Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, double tap to wake, and a bunch of Nokia specific applications such as Nokia Beamer, Storyteller, etc. along with much more.

You shouldn’t worry if you can’t spot the notification yet as the process is gradual and might take a few days to complete. If you’re too impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your Settings > Phone Update. If you’re one of those lucky ones who received the update, please share with us your experience after updating your Lumia 925 to the latest Lumia Black update.

Thanks Alan for the tip.
