Nokia Lumia 530, Aka Nokia Rock, Tipped To Be In The Works – onmsft.com

Nokia Lumia 530 aka Nokia Rock is tipped to be in the making

Apparently, Nokia is already working on the successor of the Lumia 525. According to the prolific Twitter leaker, Evleaks, the Lumia 530, which has been apparently code-named as the “Nokia Rock”, is already in the works.

For a refresher, the Lumia 525 was the successor of the Lumia 520, the best selling Windows Phone ever. However, except adding in more RAM, the Lumia 525 wasn’t a significant improvement over the 520. So what can we expect from the Lumia 530? Well, enhancing the screen resolution will be whole-heartedly welcomed, but recent leaked specifications of the Lumia 630 beg to disagree with that. The device could be made less bulky too, if that is not too much to ask. It’s safe to assume that it will be running the upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Recently, we heard about Lumia 630 and Lumia 930 as well. So buzz about the Lumia 530 isn’t much of a big surprise. The “Rock” code-name does circle around music; one assuring thing is that Nokia is working on something interesting.
