Nokia Lumia 520 now receiving Lumia Cyan update in Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, some part of Africa.

Last week the Lumia 520 handsets snagged the Lumia Cyan update in India. The device is now receiving the said update in several more regions including Latin America, Egypt, Nigeria, and several places in Africa.

For those who are unfamiliar, the Lumia Cyan update brings Windows Phone 8.1 operating system as well as several Lumia exclusive features onto your handset. To snag the update, head over to Settings > Phone Update > and tap on ‘check for update’.

Do note that users who have Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview installed on their handsets won’t be able to get the Lumia Cyan update, well at least not yet. The company is working on a fix, no words on how soon we can expect it.
