Nokia Lumia 1520

For those of you who are thinking about getting a Nokia Lumia 1520, the most powerful Windows Phone phablet yet, Amazon is offering the smartphone for $99.99, though it’s tied to a two-year contract with AT&T. It’s not the only phone deal either, as the Microsoft store lists the best-selling Nokia Lumia 520 for just $59 — reduced from $99.

Both of these smartphones are the best in their own category. Nokia unveiled the monstrous Lumia 1520 to combat high-end devices from other manufacturers, and it may be the best Windows Phone phablet, providing you don’t have any problem carrying a giant device in your pocket.

AT&T is selling Nokia Lumia 1520 for $199.99 with a two-year contract, so it’s going to save you a handsome $100 if you purchase it from Amazon. The handset rocks a beautiful 6-inch display, sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset under the hood.

Other features include:

2GB Of RAM
16GB storage with an option to expand it via microSD card of up to 64GB
20MP PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilization
1.2MP front-facing camera with 720p video capabilities
3,400 mAh battery
Windows Phone 8 Lumia Black
162.8 x 85.4 x 8.7 mm
Weighs 209g

On the other hand, the Nokia Lumia 520 is regarded as the most popular Windows Phone device on the planet, though it could be succeeded by Nokia Lumia 525. That model comes with more RAM and WP8 with Lumia Black, but the 520 is still one of the best Windows Phone handsets in its category.

Additionally, Nokia Lumia 525 is not yet available in most countries. It’s expected to hit India in early January and is already available for sale in Singapore. For now though, the Nokia Lumia 520 is available for just $59 off-contract at the Microsoft Store. For those you of who are looking to give the Windows Phone ecosystem a try or just want a spare phone, this could be one of the best options.

Nokia Lumia 520 comes with:

4-inch display with 480 by 800 resolution
1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
512MB RAM
8GB storage with microSD card slot
5MP rear camera
Windows Phone 8 OS
1,430mAh battery
