Nokia Lumia 1520

The oversized Nokia Lumia 1520 went on sale last year in many global markets. If you’re rocking a Nokia Lumia 1520, you may want to check if there’s any update available as Nokia is rolling out a minor update, bumping the firmware version to 1028.3562.1402.10xx, which brings some improvements and bug fixes.

The update is rolling out in several regions, and you may have to check manually on your device by navigating to Settings > Phone Update. It’s also depends on the network you’re tied too, that is, if you’re running a carrier branded version of the device. The update is mentioned on the Nokia support page for Lumia 1520 for several countries — we checked it for UK and a few more European countries.

Here are the improvements introduced in the latest update:

  • Improvements to Bluetooth connection quality
  • Improvements to headset detection
  • Improvements to stability and performance

If you’re in possession of a Nokia Lumia 1520, let us know using the comments below if you received the update, and also the improvements you noticed.
