\

Nextgen Reader is a fast, clean and beautiful RSS reader app for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 that even has Feedly support. Just last week, the developers behind Nextgen Reader rolled out a major update to the app for Windows 8.1. Today, we get a minor update to the Windows 8.1 app, and another update for the Windows Phone 8 app.

\

Nextgen Reader for Windows 8.1 has been updated to version 2.0.29.0 in this latest update, which simply features general improvements and bug fixes. The app has also been improved for usage on Windows RT. No other details were given about the update.

\

The app for Windows Phone 8, on the other hand, received an update bumping the version number to 5.32.0.0. Not only did the new update fix a few bugs, but the update also features improved error handling. The update also improves the login and share screen.

\

This app has over 600 reviews in the Windows Store, with the majority of reviews having five stars.

\

The app for Windows 8.1 runs for $2.99 while the Windows Phone 8 variant runs for $1.99. Hit the download link to snag the apps – a free trial is available. Let us know if you notice any new improvements.
