Windows 10

The Windows 10 builds have been ramping up in frequency over recent weeks. Just last week saw three new builds released to the fast ring. In a blog post, announcing Microsoft Music’s change of name to Groove, Brandon LeBlanc indicated that there would be yet another build released before the end of this week.

“Here’s a quick overview of the new features you’ll find with both apps in the build coming to Windows Insiders this week.”

Currently the build number is up to 10162 which was today released to the slow ring too. The next build due this week may be 10163 of which screenshots were recently leaked. The new build will feature the rebranded music service (Groove) as well as the Movies and TV video service.

After this latest build is released, it is expected that Microsoft will sign off on the RTM of Windows 10. After some internal testing, one must wonder if the company will release it to the fast ring before the due date of July 29.
