A few weeks ago, Microsoft detailed that it was exploring options on how they would notify Windows Insiders when the bugs they reported on the Feedback Hub have been fixed. As noted by Aggiornamenti Lumia, the company is now testing a version of the Feedback Hub with Skip Ahead Insiders that accomplishes this, with notification improvements, and much more.
Indeed, the Feedback Hub was recently updated to version 1.1708.2431.0 for Skip Ahead Insiders, bringing an integration with the recently released Language Community app, and the ability for the user to directly receive Action Center notifications for different types of their feedback related activities. Here is the full changelog, roughly translated from Italian:
- It is now possible to receive notifications of new activities in our feedback (PC and mobile)
- Added integration with the new “Community language” (PC only)
- In the section Listing > devices and activities you can see now new entries “device ID” and “UserID”, help resolve problems with their Windows account Insider (PC and mobile)
- Other fixes and various translations (PC and mobile)
It’s great to see that Microsoft is adding the option to notify Windows Insiders about their Feedback. It makes things much more personal compared to the current upvote and suggestion system, and should encourage Windows Insiders to be much more active in the Feedback Hub.
